4th of July 5K!!!

So, at 7:30am on the 4th of July, Lucas ran his first 5K!!! That's 3.1 miles!!! He was pretty excited about it, and he'd been training at the YMCA on the treadmills for a while! He was ready!

He just noticed he has a cheering section! We were laughing and yelling "GO DADDY!!!"
Although you can clearly see that he ran it in 29.30 minutes, his official time that got written down was 28.56... Guess which one he's claiming? LOL!!!
And he got a kiss for crossing the finish line! Look at that! Too cute!!!
This is his boss, Larry. Larry was supposed to run this too, but then didn't because of a knee injury... Larry is actually the one who got Lucas started on the 5Ks!
