Adios, Amigos!

Well, Ade and Antton (and Maija and Jarno) moved away to Minnesota this morning, so we're a little BLUE. Maija and I were worried about how the kids would deal with the separation, but we shouldn't have bothered! They were fine. Hugs and kisses and grab the treat sack and get in the car... Jarno and Lucas handled themselves the manly way (even with the hugs!), but Maija and I... Well, we basically cried on each other's shoulders like big babies! ;) Oh yeah, the waterworks were on!

Then, about 45 minutes after they left, Raven looked over and noticed there was NOTHING - no toys, no strollers, no car, no nothing- at Ade's house... She started sobbing! It was sad... The whole day has been sad, and it's only 10:45am! This is not a good sign!

But the awesome thing is (yes, mom, here comes the bright side!) -- Raven made a great friend in Ade and Lucas and I made great friends, too, and now that we know them, someone else can move into their house and maybe we can make more friends! The other awesome thing is that now that we know them, we can go see them. We're going to try to go to Minnesota and see them this fall, and they're going to try to come back down at least once, if not a couple times, like to go canoeing or to the zoo with the kids!
