Dance Recital

Ok, we have someone FAR, FAR away who is keeping tabs on us and what we may or may not post... And whether or not it's on time! Well, lopeta! Lopu! And the rest of you, you stop it too! We're posting!!! See, the dishwasher has freed up so much time that I can now post!!! YAY!!!

Raven had her dance recital (the culmination of a year of dance lessons!) on June 2. Many of the people who read this were there, but a few of you weren't, and I know that you all like to see pictures.

This picture is from Sheila, my dad's fiancee. This is of Raven during her tap number, which was "Achey Breaky Heart" by Billy Ray Cyrus.



This is where she's actually singing "Don't tell my heart, my achey breaky heart!!!"

Most of you know this already, but Raven threw a shoe during this song... This picture happens to be the exact second she realizes that she doesn't have a shoe anymore. She was tapping so hard that it just flew off! She stopped what she was doing and ran back to her shoe to get it back. She ended up spending the last half or more of the song trying to wiggle into her shoe. Finally, Miss Suzie, Raven's favorite teacher, ran out after everyone else was off the stage and saved her! But Raven was very embarrassed because she thought everyone was laughing AT her!

Look at that ornery child! She cleans up so well and looks so cute, but there's a devil hiding under all that makeup and smile!!! You may not believe me, but it's there! Trust me!!! I know!!!

Miss Diva actually got 6 dozen roses, a jewelry box, a Make-Your-Own color book, and some other presents for being such a great dancer!!! She was hot stuff that nite!

Where did Raven go? You can't even see her behind her 4 dozen roses that she's holding!

Oh, Peek-A-Boo! There she is, peeking through her flowers! She was very proud of her presents and flowers from everyone! And she was so happy that everyone came to see her dance!

This is more cheesing outside... And for those of you who have a smart mouth, she's a dancer with a pole, not a pole dancer! I know there are some of you who immediately noticed that!

This is when she got the "Are we finished yet?" attitude! But since it was Memaw and Sheila doing pictures, she was ok... If that was Mommy, she would have been a little more snotty!

Ok, she was totally done at this point, and no one could get her to come back to Earth! Oh well!
