At the Wading Pool!!!

In one of our earlier posts, we told everyone about the free wading pool at the park halfway across town. The girls love it, and I like it because it's only for children under 7 with an adult! And it's never very crowded... When we went the day these pictures were taken, there were more than 30 people there, but it didn't feel crowded or busy at all! It goes from 0" depth to Raven's ribcage, so maybe 2.5' or so...


Inside the fence that the pool is in, right beside the pool, is a little water park area. It has about 10 or 15 different sprayers. There's a frog sprayer you can sit on, some little fire hydrant sprayers to run through, a curtain sprayer to run under, etc. The girls both really like it, but Raven is usually more interested in the pool. Riahna likes to get out of the pool and play in the sprayers. It's pretty cute!


And this is Riahna on the frog sprayer... She wasn't really sure about sitting up there by herself without Mommy close, so I had to be in the picture!


This is Raven trying to catch the water from the fire hydrant the little boy is playing with. She really likes that one. And since the sprayers are all hooked up to the same pipe, if you block a sprayer off, the others spray harder. That's what this little boy was trying to do for Raven.


This was Raven getting in trouble a little. She was running from the fence to the pool and jumping in. It was kinda hard for her to understand that it was ok to jump in, but no running!



Riahna thought she was big stuff walking to the deep end with Mommy to tell Raven it was time to go home. Raven is the little girl jumping out of the water at the right edge of the picture.
