Riahna's Details

Ok, so Riahna's surgery is in the morning... We're supposed to be there with her at 7am to start prepping for surgery. One of us gets to go back with her until they put her to sleep with the gas mask. Then, the doctor will come in and the parent will have to leave. He'll snip her tongue while she's asleep, and then he'll come out to talk to us while the nurses wake Riahna up. Once she's awake, we can go back and sit with her. She'll be in recovery 20 or 30 minutes, and then we'll get to go home! YAY!!!

It should be super easy, but for those of you who know Riahna well, she handles everything like a true drama queen! So, we're hoping this won't be too rough on her, but we're counting on a rotten day tomorrow!

Also, she tested normal for the blood disorder that my mom and I both have. She's within normal range, so they'll just use the normal gas to put her under. I wish they'd just go ahead and treat her like she has it, that way there's no chance of an emergency later!

Raven will be spending the nite at Memaw's house tonite that way she doesn't have to be up quite as early. She'll get up and get around with Memaw, be in there at 7 or 7:30, see Sissy, stay until Sissy is done and wakes up, then tell Sissy bye, and Memaw will take her to preschool. Then, Riahna will have until 11:15 or so to recover at home on her own!

We'll be calling a lot of you in the morning. We should be settled in at home around 9 or so! Talk to you then!!! Keep Riahna in mind in the morning! And pray for the parents! Riahna will be fine, but we may not be!!!
